TOWPATH BIKE RIDE IN THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK

OCTOBER 16 (after second service)

WHAT’S BIKE ABOARD?  That’s where you can ride your bike on the towpath and for $2, let the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad train bring you back!!!

Community of Hopers will meet 1pm at the Brecksville Station parking lot (off Riverview Rd where Brecksville Reservation Chippewa Creek Drive ends.)

From there, we will bike south toward Peninsula.  Map at right shows distances and train stations. You have a couple of choices for the return trip.  You can either bike back, or catch the train at the station of your choice (train schedule on reverse side).

It’s going to be flexible and you can make the ride as short or long as you like, but the plan is to go 10 miles to Indigo Lake. Between Peninsula and Indigo is Szalay’s Farm market, so we may make a pit stop for some fruit and have a snack at Indigo.

This is meant to be a family friendly fun ride, done at your own pace, with lots of sight seeing and enjoyment of God’s awesome handiwork along the way.
