This summer from Wednesday, June 26 - Monday, July 1 we will be riding the Great Allegheny Passage from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Cumberland, Maryland. Whether you're a seasoned pro at biking or relatively new, this trip is an exciting chance to grow personally, experience beautiful scenery, and enjoy faith-building bible study along the way. Each day, we share meals together, a time of Bible study, a few hours of biking, and lots of laughter. Throughout our trip, we'll stay at a mix of hotels and B&Bs. A support vehicle will carry our gear so that we can focus on riding and enjoying the trail. Read on for specific information for this year's trip!

Anyone 14 years or older who can ride a bike around 40ish miles a day.

Wednesday, June 26 - Monday, July 1st 2024. 

What is the Itinerary?

Wednesday, 6/26: Meet at Community of Hope at 5:30 PM, drive to Pittsburgh , PA.

Thursday 6/27: Ride about 51.7 miles to Connellsville 

Friday 6/28: Ride about 27.2 miles to Confluence

Saturday 6/29: Ride about 29.7 miles to Meyersdale 

Sunday, 6/30: Ride about 31.9 miles to Cumberland, MD. 

Monday, 7/1: Depart from Cumberland, shuttle to PGH and drive back to Cleveland. 

How Much Will It Cost: 

The cost for this trip includes 5 nights in hotels or B&B style lodging, support vehicle for our gear, shuttle back to Pittsburgh from Cumberland, three lunches and one breakfast. Please note: breakfast is included in some lodging.

What about Food? 

We will provide one group meal most days that we are riding, and eat other meals out at a restaurant. At some lodging, breakfast is included. We recommend bringing breakfast/snack items such as granola bars, pop tarts, applesauce pouches, apples, oranges, peanut butter packets, nuts, and trail mix that will work well on the trail. We will go over more specifics at our pre-departure meeting.
